Verdict in Dileep case next month

The Ernakulam Sessions Court in Kerala has set 8 December 2025 as the date for deciding the high-profile assault and abduction case involving veteran Malayalam actor Dileep and others.
The courts decision will mark the culmination of a trial spanning more than eight years. The case centres on the abduction and sexual assault of a female actor on 17 February 2017, while she was travelling in a moving vehicle on the outskirts of Kochi. Dileep, identified as the eighth accused, stands charged with conspiring to facilitate the attack orchestrated by the first accused, NS Sunil, who allegedly not only carried out the abduction but also recorded
