Tekdi tussle: Ex-MLA targets Mohol again

Former Kasba Peth MLA Ravindra Dhangekar has once again launched a fresh attack on Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, this time over alleged links to builders involved in the Balbharti-Paud Phata Road project that cuts through Vetal Tekdi — Pune's last major green hill.
Dhangekar, currently with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena — an ally of Mohols Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the ruling Mahayuti — made the allegations in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday. He claimed that during his tenure as mayor, Mohol had used a private vehicle belonging to a builder allegedly connected to the controversial Jain Hostel land deal.
