School Education and Transport Minister Uday Pratap Singh chaired a divisional review meeting of the School Education Department at the Administrative Complex Building here on Wednesday.

He directed that the Simhastha Mahaparv-2028 must be organised on a grand scale and that the Department should ensure all required preparations are carried out in full.

Singh instructed that the condition of all school buildings in Ujjain city and surrounding areas be assessed, and a list of required arrangements be prepared and completed within set deadlines.

He further stressed that a service corps should be formed for Simhastha 2028, with a detailed action plan, and that they should be trained through the administration and police.
