Raymond Group to invest Rs 1,000 crore in AP

In another milestone for Andhra Pradesh’s industrial resurgence, the Raymond Group has committed investments worth Rs 1,000 crore for estab lishing two major manufactur ing projects in the Sri Satya Sai District, focusing on aerospace and automotive components.

Together, the projects are set to create over 5,400 direct jobs, propelling the state into a new era of high-technology manufacturing.
This marks the first aerospace investment under the state’s new Aerospace Policy, underscoring Andhra Pra-desh’s growing status as a destination for advanced industries. The approvals, formalized through G.O. Ms. No. 196 and G.O. Ms. No. 197 of the Industries and Commerce Department, included a Rs 700-crore subsidy package under the Industrial and Aerospace Policy to facilitate project roll-out.
