Unseasonal and excessive rainfall has wreaked havoc on groundnut crops across Haveri district, leaving farmers in deep distress.
After investing heavily and nurturing their crops with hope, farmers now face severe losses as waterlogged fields have led to sprouting and rotting of groundnut plants.
