Gemmological Institute of India secures NABL accreditation for testing

In a major boost to India’s gem and jewellery trade, the Gemmological Institute of India (GII) has achieved a prestigious accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

The recognition, granted under ISO/IEC/17025:2017 in the field of Testing, underscores GII's longstanding commitment to excellence in gem testing, certification, and research.

For decades, GII has been at the forefront of the Indian gem and jewellery industry, known for its rigorous testing standards, expert-led training programmes, and high-end R&D initiatives. This latest accreditation validates the institute’s credibility as an internationally recognised authority in gemstone and diamond certification.
