The Congress on Tuesday accused the Chief Minister’s Office in Kerala of attempting to influence the special investigation team probing the Sabarimala gold loss case, escalating a political confrontation around one of the state’s most sensitive investigations.
Speaking to reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, Leader of the Opposition V. D. Satheesan alleged that intermediaries linked to the CMO had sought to interfere with the probe and claimed that two senior police officers were tasked with exerting pressure on investigators.
