WhatsApp chats plotting to kill Shah, others unearthed

The Punjab Police have unearthed WhatsApp chats of a group called 'Akali Dal Waris Punjab De' discussing plans to assassinate Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia.
The group, which reportedly had over 600 members, allegedly supported jailed MP Amritpal Singh.
The chats, which emerged on social media on Sunday, also mentioned possible attacks on Parminder Singh Talwara, a close associate of late activist Deep Sidhu.
