Realizing the spirit of Swachh Bharat Mission, Uttar Pradesh has performed brilliantly in the Swachh Survekshan 2024-25.
There has been a historic bounce in the rankings of many urban areas, including the major cities of the state: Lucknow, Agra, Noida, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi.
Not only the big metropolis but also the recent rural panchayats and municipalities, which have transformed into urban bodies, have also recorded remarkable progress towards cleanliness.
This achievement is a proof of rapid changes in the urban scenario of the state and public participation-based good governance.
