For over a decade now I have been recommending the Suzuki Access 125 left right and center to anyone and everyone who comes to me with the “which scooter to buy?” query.

In fact, a week or two before this test unit was sent to me by the lovely ladies in Suzuki India’s Comms. & PR teams, I recommended it to a close friend who happens to be a seasoned Foreign Affairs journalist. I don’t know why but he was confused between the Access and Hero Destini. He bought the Access, obviously, and while he was in the middle of completing the formalities at the Suzuki showroom, he showed the explicit one-line WhatsApp text message I had sent to him—on why he should buy the Access over the Destini—to another gentleman who had walked up to him to ask about, strangely, the Access vs Destini dilemma as well. That person also bought the Access the same day. Plus, a few days ago, my friend shared that he made another friend buy the Access. That's three scooters sold on one WhatsApp text message. But that’s the secondary point of sharing this anecdote. The primary point is that I had never reviewed the Suzuki Access, and was still recommending it to everyone. Why, you ask?
