Dog Squad helps file 28 FIRs in 2025
In the Haryana Police's campaign against narcotic substances, technical tools and human intelligence networks play a critical role. There also exists a unique unit that reinforces this fight silently, with efficiency.
They are the specially-trained narcotics detection dogs of the police force. They may not appear on public platforms, but when it comes to identifying suspicious packages, sealed vehicles or narcotics hidden in walls, their extraordinary olfactory sense and a mere signal can redirect the entire course of an investigation.
Today, these dogs have not only become a major obstacle for criminals but also stand as symbols of safety, trust and effective law enforcement for the public.
