Rohtas Nagar BJP MLA stages protest against 'illegal' OYO hotels

On Friday, October 25, 2024, Delhi BJP MLA Jitendra Mahajan from Rohtas Nagar staged a protest outside an OYO Hotel in Mansarovar Park, GT Road, demanding action against guest houses and OYO hotels allegedly operating illegally in the Rohtas Nagar constituency.
During the protest, Mahajan informed The Daily Guardian that on the previous afternoon, a 17-year-old girl was reportedly kidnapped from Kurukshetra and provided overnight accommodation at an OYO Hotel based on a fake ID. The girl's family arrived in Shahdara late at night in search of her and approached MLA Jitendra Mahajan and local police for assistance.
