Queries on marriage plans follow Rahul to Rae Bareli

At 53, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi who is still single and is contesting for the first time from Rae Bareli seat in Uttar Pradesh had to answer queries in regard to his marriage plans and quipped saying that "now, I will have to get married soon."

While addressing his first public meeting here after filing his nomination, Rahul Gandhi first praised his sister and party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for campaigning for him in the family bastion and giving her blood and sweat for ensuring his victory.
However, soon he faced a barrage of questions from the crowd about his marriage plans, to which Priyanka Gandhi said he must respond to the query.
