Plea moved in SC against 'bulldozer action': 'House demolished for crime by tenant's son'

The Supreme Court in the case Brinda Karat v. North Delhi Municipal Corporation & Ors observed wherein two application is filed seeking urgent relief against bulldozer or demolition action by authorities in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have been filed before the Supreme Court.

The bench comprising of Justice BR Gavai and Justice KV Viswanathan was hearing the present matter.
The counsel, Senior Advocate CU Singh mentioned that one of the applications requested that the matter is to be taken up on the next date of hearing in the case Brinda Karat v. North Delhi Municipal Corporation & Ors., wherein a petition is filed challenging the 2022 demolition drive at Jahangirpuri, Delhi.
