I have always been highly opinionated about sequels and believed that the original one is always the best version whenever it came to sequels. However, this time with the 3rd edition of Jolly LLB, it is completely different. It goes be-
yond being a sequel in a successful franchise and ends up becoming Bollywood's tribute to Indian farmers, honouring their resilience and struggles while reminding audiences of their central role in the nation's identity.
Jolly LLB 3 is a brilliant offering in Bollywood's courtroom drama, where satire and social consciousness converge into an engaging cinematic experience. Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film not only brings together Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi as two different versions of “Jolly,” but also brings to the fore one of India’s most pressing issues: the struggle of farmers against systemic neglect.
