A massive power outage, triggered by a fire at a nearby electricity substation, has led to the temporary closure of London's Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest air travel hubs in the world.
The fire, which broke out late Thursday, forced the airport to shut down operations on Friday, creating widespread travel chaos for thousands of passengers.
Heathrow officials announced that the airport would remain closed until midnight, although significant disruptions were expected to continue through the weekend.
