Tagore International School Vasant Vihar organized a health talk in collaboration with Madhukar Rainbow Hospital, Malviya Nagar on the occasion of World Health Day on the 7th of April in the school premises.
Dr. Alka Chaudhary, a senior consultant in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, spoke about Gut and Adolescence Health to students of classes 9th and 10th and its crucial role in influencing digestion, immunity, skin conditions, mental health and welfare.
She elaborated on how adolescence is a period of transition for teenagers; therefore, the nutritional well-being of an individual can impact their physical and mental growth.
