A DIVINE LEGACY ROOTED IN MYTHOLOGY The name "Govind" is one of Lord Krishna's most cherished epithets, meaning "protector of cows." Revered by various names like Gopal, Murli Manohar, and Madhav, Lord Krishna's presence in the temple is embodied by an idol believed to be His original divine form. This idol, enshrined in the temple, is said to be a true representation of Krishna's appearance. Devotees hold that beholding this idol grants a divine vision, and it is famously said that Radha Rani herself recognized this as the perfect likeness of Krishna.
