Engineer Rashid released from jail

Baramulla Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid walked out of Tihar Jail on Wednesday, a day after being granted interim bail until October 2 by a court.
The bail allows Rashid to participate in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections.
Addressing the media outside the jail, where he had been detained since 2019 in connection with a terror funding case, Rashid emphasised his commitment to uniting Kashmir. "I am coming to Kashmir to unite people and not to divide," he asserted.
