Diljit Dosanjh misses International Emmy; Oriol Pla wins best actor

Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh narrowly missed out on the Best Actor honour at the 53rd International Emmy Awards 2025 in Los Angeles, where he was nominated for his acclaimed performance in Imtiaz Ali's film Amar Singh Chamkila. The award ultimately went to Spanish actor Oriol Pla for his role in Yo, adicto (I, Addict).
Imtiaz Alis film also missed the trophy in the Best TV Movie/Mini-Series category.
