Delhi minister Sirsa demands apology from Punjab minister Arora

Senior BJP leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has issued a legal notice to Punjab Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Aman Arora demanding an unconditional apology, accusing him of making defamatory and malicious statements.

Sirsa has demanded an immediate apology within 24 hours and retraction of the alleged remarks made on social media and other public platforms.

The controversy sparked from a recent social media post by Aman Arora on X where he accused Sirsa of having ties with gangsters and protecting them through central jails.

The post, written in Punjabi, labelled the situation as "very embarrassing" and claimed that the BJP is involved in shielding criminals. Arora's remarks were made in the context of the murder of prominent social worker and businessman Sanjay Verma, suggesting that Sirsa's stance supports such activities.
