Six-time Women's T20 World Cup champions and reigning titleholders Australia are set to face their Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in a high-voltage clash at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

With both teams coming off victories in their respective opening matches, the stakes are higher than ever as these powerhouses of women's cricket go head-to-head in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Led by Alyssa Healy, Australia Women had a dominant start to their campaign, securing a convincing six-wicket win over Sri Lanka. Invited to bowl first, the Aussies made light work of Sri Lanka's batting lineup, restricting them to a mere 93 runs. The bowlers, led by their disciplined spinners, capitalized on the spin-friendly conditions, and though Australia lost four wickets in their chase, a composed knock from Beth Mooney ensured they got over the line with 34 balls to spare.
