Amid vote theft charges, Cong plans all-India stir

The Congress party is preparing to launch a nationwide movement on the issue of vote theft, escalating its attack on the Election Commission over alleged electoral irregularities. In several states, Congress state units and senior leaders have continued to attack the Election Commission in their own way regarding vote theft.

On Monday, party president Mallikarjun Kharge will formulate a strategy for a nationwide movement with the officials.

Party’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal said in his post that just like Mahatma Gandhi had launched a do or die movement for independence, in the same way Congress will also have to launch a do or die movement to save democracy.

It is clear from this tough stand of Congress that it is preparing for a big movement along with the allies of India Alliance.
