After a series of landslides, Himachal's 'lifeline' NH-707 now seen as 'highway of death'

Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh is in the grip of a series of natural disasters.
Now, a massive landslide has hit the National Highway 707 (NH-707) near Paonta Sahib. The landslide near Uttari village on Monday morning wiped out the road. Debris and rocks amid heavy rains came down covering the entire road and traffic on both sides has come to a halt.
As vehicular movement has been hit, vegetables supply to Delhi and Chandigarh has been impacted.
