Owners' plans for gaming shop set to reopen after 30 months of hell

A GAMING shop is finally set to reopen after going through 30 months of hell over a burst South West Water (SWW) pipe.
Game On Cornwall in Market Place, Penzance, was forced to close and lost trade after being flooded with sewage on 55 occasions since October 2022.
Owners Neil and Amy Potter have been in a battle with the utility company for more than two and a half years over the damage they say SWW caused their business. Neil believes the sewage issues cost him £250,000 in lost earnings, cancelled events and loss of reputation. It has also taken a massive toll on his and his wife's mental health through stress.
