Now it's back to league football with all the top competitions beginning to gather momentum before the busy holiday period.

Mamelodi Sundowns will be overwhelming favourites to win more domestic silverware on Saturday, when they take on PSL rookies Magesi in the Carling Knockout final in Bloemfontein.

They are two clubs whose contrast in resources could not be starker.

Champions Sundowns have an excess of talent in their squad, while Magesi were scratching for players before the start of the season as they prepared for their first top-flight campaign.
