The Ultimate King's victory in the Grade 3 Betway Victory Moon Stakes on Sunday has surely gained him an entry into the final field for the R6-million Betway Summer Cup.
The Grade 1 race over 2000m on the Standside at Turffontein will be run on Saturday 29 November.
There is a final supplementary entry stage on Monday after which the weights will be announced.
There is only a 6kg spread in that regard with 60kg being allotted to the highest rated horse, which in this case is last year's winner Atticus Finch, while the minimum weight will be 54kg.
That often means that some of those horses with 54kg will be under sufferance.
