Something amiss with Metrobus

It seems that given the changes to Joburg Metrobus ticketing, there's a distinct possibility that it's going the same way as Metrorail and disappearing off the Joburg grid.
I have been purchasing a yearly ticket as a pensioner for about R250 for years which allows 200 trips to anywhere in the Joburg Metro area.
So, my 2024 allowance came to an end around August and off I went just before its lapse to Princess depot and enquired what I had to do regarding the changes to the system where no cash is allowed any more and how I should recharge my token.
