With so much on the line in the Test series starting on Thursday, the Proteas can be forgiven for losing to Pakistan in the ODI series last week, but only if they deliver in the five-day campaign.

After securing a 2-0 victory in the three-match T20 series (the last game was rained out), the SA team were handed a 3-0 defeat in the ODI series which ended on Sunday.
However, with this tour's focus directed towards the Test series, the Proteas have used a rotation system to rest and manage players, and they haven't been at full strength.
