FIELD: 26 RUNNERS NOMINATED FOR R1-MILLION RACE AND 16 WILL BE ABLE TO RUN
There were 26 horses nominated to run in the Grade 2 Allied Steelrode On A Mission Charity Mile at Turffontein on Saturday 1 November.
A number of horses are also among the entries for the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup over 2000m four weeks later and included in the lineup for the Charity Mile are current Summer Cup favourite Confederate and Atticus Finch, last year's Cup winner.
However, there are also quite a few specialist milers in the field who will be looking to pick up the major portion of the R1-million prize money on offer.
