Do council officials know what they are doing?

Still waiting for a rebate on rates account, but nothing after 15 months, writes Gina B

I am sure there will be many other readers who have had bad experiences with the City of Joburg accounts department.

In 2023, the new city council left it too late – till middle of June – to inform us to apply for the rebate on our rates accounts of our homes. In the past, we were given the forms in March.
