CARDOSO: STAYS IN THE NOW AHEAD OF PIRATES GAME
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso is adamant that his players are not haunted by the ghosts of last season’s defeats to Orlando Pirates in two cup competitions.
The Buccaneers got the better of Sundowns in both the MTN8 Cup fi nal and the Nedbank Cup decider in the previous campaign.
Both teams will once again lock horns in a Betway Premiership match that will be played at Loft us Versfeld today with three points at stake. Any notion that the Brazilians were still reeling from the cup defeats against Jose Ribeiro’s team were shot down by Cardoso.
