Cup draw function sets the tone

The final field for the R6million Betway Summer Cup over 2000m at Turffontein on Saturday 30 November was unveiled in a function on Wednesday evening, and now the debate begins on who will win this Grade 1 race.

Fanciers of 5-2 favourite See It Again will be delighted that he drew at No 6, that number pulled out of the barrel by the gelding's jockey Piere Strydom.

There is, of course. A lot of talk around about Brett Crawford trained filly Frances Ethel who will be ridden by four-time UK champion jockey Oisin Murphy who is on a whirlwind visit to South Africa.
