NEWCASTLE

United's first-team squad brought festive cheer to the city's hospital wards last week, as part of the club's ‘A Helping Hand at Christmas’ campaign.Coordinated in partnership with Newcastle Hospitals Charity, the visits gave patients a special opportunity to meet their footballing heroes. The players also spent time with NHS staff.

Captain Bruno Guimaraes and his teammates spent the afternoon signing autographs, posing for photos, and handing out special Newcastle United goody bags at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
