THE wait is almost over - the North East's first adults-only funfair leisure venue has revealed its opening date.
Fayre Play has already been packing in the masses in Glasgow and Edinburgh, thanks to its eclectic mix of fun activities based on nostalgic fairground games, food and cocktails.
The fairground experience with a competitive twist was originally launched by husband and wife team Craig and Kasia Neilson who, as we have previously reported, say they can’t wait to open up in Newcastle after kitting out a double unit in The Gate.
And now it can be revealed that the brand new Newcastle site, which has been designed by Gateshead’s own Pulp Studios Design House, will open in the entertainment complex in the city centre on Friday, August 29.
