ORGANISERS APPEAL FOR TRADERS TO JOIN PLANS TO EXPAND

THE organisers of the Newcastle Christmas Market are aiming to make the 2025 event 'one of the best' in the UK.

Newcastle City Council and Newcastle NE1 are working on improvements to the popular annual tradition. Plans are taking shape, and potential traders now have the opportunity to apply to be part of the festive attraction year.

Last year's event was hugely successful, with 1.76million visits to the market, marking a 28% increase on 2023, and contributing £91 million to the city's economy. This year's market will run from Saturday November 15 until Tuesday December 23, with a continued focus on local businesses.
