A DINNINGTON mum has become the first person in the UK to undergo a new kind of heart surgery designed to tackle heart disease while also reducing the risk that she'll have another stroke.
Josephine Davison, 66, was forced to retire last year when breathlessness turned out to be a symptom of heart failure.
When she was in hospital, she had a stroke and scans revealed a blood clot in a heart valve.
