Italian Toon star inspires name for Mini Magpie

A COUPLE who had a Newcastle United-themed wedding have now named their baby boy after Sandro Tonali.
Leanne Johnson, 32, and her husband Stuart, 37, welcomed their son Lewis Michael Sandro Johnson into the world in October last year.
Leanne said family members had joked about them naming their firstborn after a Toon player and had already nicknamed him “baby Sandro” before his birth. When they realised adding Sandro as his middle name would spell out their initials, they went for it.
The new mum, who is a team manager at Waitrose, said: “Every time family asked about a name they would say ‘What's he going to be called? Joe after Joelinton or baby Sandro?! It just became a running joke with the family.
“They had already nicknamed him baby Sandro before he was born. I really liked Lewis, as it’s Stuart's middle name, and we decided to name him Michael after Stuart's dad, as it’s his first grandson.
