Investigation still ongoing for man missing 23 years

THE probe into the mystery disappearance of loving son Robert Scott Clive is continuing after four murder suspects answered bail.

It has now been almost 23 years since Robert, who was known to his friends and family as Scott, vanished without a trace just 10 months after moving from Stranraer in Scotland to North Shields.
Earlier this year, police arrested three people on suspicion of murder after searches began at a house near North Shields town centre.
The suspects, two men and a woman, were released on bail after questioning. However after answering bail in the summer all were released under investigation, The Chronicle understands.
