FORMER Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft has confirmed he will be coming to Tyneside as one of the extra dates on his 2026 tour.

Ashcroft is currently supporting Oasis on their much-hyped reunion tour.

And the 90s indie star - the voice of huge anthems like Bittersweet Symphony, The Drugs Don't Work and Lucky Man - is heading to Newcastle next April.
