GUIU LOAN WAS CUT SHORT
SUNDERLAND could return to sign Marc Guiu from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
That is the claim of former Sunderland and Manchester United scout Mick Brown.
Nine games into the campaign, the Black Cats sit fourth in the table, with five wins, two draws and two defeats. It is the kind of start that has ignited belief on Wearside and plans are understood to be in motion to reinforce that momentum when the January transfer window opens.
One player firmly on Sunderland's radar is Guiu. The Spaniard is back at Chelsea after his season-long loan to the Black Cats in August was cut short inside a month when the Blues recalled him due to Nicolas Jackson’s move to Bayern Munich.
