Anti-dogging measures are carried out
The Chronicle
|October 25, 2025
WORKS to deter dogging at a Northumberland hotspot have been completed.
-
Arcot Lane in Cramlington has been closed for several days during October as Northumberland County Council carried out roadwork improvements.
The works included carriageway resurfacing, edge repairs and verge repairs. Concerns had been raised about people engaging in group sex acts in broad daylight.
The concerns came to light after plans to build a new crematorium in the area were approved.
