Harmes was sentenced to three years in prison after earlier pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs (crack cocaine) and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs (crack cocaine).

The 43-year-old also admitted possession of a controlled class B drug (cannabis).

The case began on Friday, June 9, 2023, when Harmes was stopped by officers on patrol in the town.
