Plan for assisted living flats looks set for go-ahead

PLANS to build supported living apartments in Winsford more than eight years after a similar scheme was approved have been given the green light.
Cheshire West and Chester planners have rubber-stamped an application for three, two-storey blocks consisting of 16 apartments on land at Springbank Crescent.
Planning permission had originally been granted for a similar scheme in 2016 but did not come to fruition.
The newly-approved proposals submitted by HBV Group will see specialised supporting housing occupied by people with an assessed care need or disability, with learning and/or physical disabilities, and adults unable to live independently.
