28 States Still Dependent on FAAC for Over Half of Revenue -Report

BudgIT, a leading civic-tech organisation, says 28 Nigerian states relied on allocations from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for at least 55 percent of their total revenue in 2024.
The group disclosed this in its 2025 State of States report released on Tuesday, noting a slight improvement from 2023 when 32 states were reported to have similar dependency levels.
