July 02, 2025

This is a serious problem, which the government and administration should pay attention to. The Nagar Parishad has floated a tender for installing grills on the roadside and dividers. It is not known why the work is not being done. If grills are installed, accidents will reduce to a great extent. Attention is just needed. - Gurjeet Kaur, Councillor Ward No. 11 Pirmuchhalla.

Stray cattle menace in Peermuchhalla: Accidents rise, Grills still delayed

Although the problem of stray cattle roaming on the roads is prevalent in the entire city, many accidents have taken place in the Peermuchhalla area in the last one week. Many vehicles have been damaged so much due to stray cattle that thousands of rupees are being spent unnecessarily to repair them.

But no government or administration has been able to solve this problem today. Since Panchkula is a border state, the cattle from there come to Punjab and sit on the roads. Although these cattle roam around for food during the day, but as soon as it is night, they sit on the roadside or in the middle of the road, due to which four cars have been damaged in the last one week.
