What began as a large-scale plantation drive has now evolved into a systematic and scientific campaign focused on conservation, sustainability, and environmental education.

At the forefront of this green revolution is the Education Department, which has achieved the first position by planting 4.15 crore saplings under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0" campaign.

A Movement Beyond Plantation

Hariyalo Rajasthan is not merely about planting trees—it's about nurturing a lifelong commitment to nature.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the campaign surpassed its 2025 target, planting over 10.21 crore saplings.

The goal now expands to planting 50 crore saplings in the next five years, with an emphasis on organized and technology-driven methods like geo-tagging, moisture conservation techniques, drip irrigation, and digital progress tracking.

Education Department Sets a Historic Benchmark The Education Department, led by Education Minister Madan Dilawar, has become a key pillar in this effort by engaging students, teachers, and communities.

Through the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0" campaign, the department alone planted 4.15 crore saplings, integrating environmental responsibility with the core of education.
