Raj CM announces 7 guarantees ahead of assembly polls

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, during a press conference in Rajasthan's Jaipur, announced seven guarantees for the people of Rajasthan ahead of the upcoming assembly elections on 25 November.

The promises by the Rajasthan CM included free laptops and tablets to students in the first year of college, insurance cover of Rs 15 lakh for losses due to natural disasters, and a law for old pension schemes for government employees. Further promises made by Gehlot included the purchase of cow dung at Rs 2 per kg, English-medium education for all the students, Rs 10,000 every year to the female head of the family, and domestic gas cylinders for 1.4 crore families for Rs 500.&nb
