Furthermore, the RBI provides a TLR (Triple Lock Receptacle) form for the deposit of Rs 2,000 banknotes into their bank accounts. RBI Regional Director Rohit P Das emphasized sending Rs 2,000 notes via insured post for a seamless and secure direct credit to customers’ accounts. This approach avoids the inconvenience of visiting specific branches and waiting in queues.
