The meeting will see participation from Members of Parliament belonging to both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. This gathering comes against the backdrop of an increasingly contentious monsoon session, which has been repeatedly disrupted due to the Opposition's strong objections to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls currently underway in Bihar.
